Summary
In the month of August, Cisco was breached by conducting a social engineering attack on an employee by three threat actors namely UNC2447, Lapsus$, and Yanluowang ransomware gang. This month also saw four zero-day vulnerabilities resolved by major corporations such as Microsoft (CVE-2022-34713), Google (CVE-2022-2856), and Apple (CVE-2022-32893, CVE-2022-32894).
