DragonRank is a newly identified hacking group that primarily targets countries in Asia and Europe. They exploit vulnerabilities in web applications to deploy web shells and malware like PlugX and BadIIS, allowing them to gather system information and establish persistent control. Their main goal is to manipulate search engine optimization (SEO) rankings for third-party scam websites hosted on compromised servers, thereby increasing the visibility of these malicious sites.
